The Glass House is offering free tours to New Canaan residents on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants meet at the Glass House Visitor Center, 199 Elm St., for the two-hour guided tour. Shuttle transportation is provided from the visitor center.

On the tour, attendees will walk through the 47-acre curated landscape and view the 14 architectural structures and art and design collection, and explore the interiors of Philip Johnson's Glass House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery and Da Monsta.

They also will see the new Alex Schweder exhibition, "Rehearsal Space," which is on view Oct. 2 to 12. Advance reservations are required and can be made through the Glass House website.
