Ladies Who Launch will host four female entrepreneurs, who will share their secrets for success, at a workshop from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9, at Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa, 25 Old Kings Highway, Darien.

The event will be broken into smaller workshops, featuring experts in nutrition, wardrobe management and online marketing, as well as with an author; all will share their secrets to success. The purpose of the event is to help women to move their businesses forward and to meet new women with whom they can collaborate.

Kathy McShane, managing director of Ladies Who Launch in Connecticut, said, "This group has been chosen because they are successful and they are willing to share their journey with other women. I find most women enjoy helping others to avoid some of the mistakes that they have made."

Lisa Corrado, of New Canaan, a clinical nutritionist. She tries to make busy people healthier by marrying clinical nutrition with culinary training. Clinical nutrition is the scientific part of the equation and the culinary training is the fun half. Carrado creates an eating plan specifically for clients.

Carol Cottrill, of Norwalk, an author, speaker and certified nutritional consultant, will share her experience of conceptualizing and writing "The French Twist," with specific how-to steps to build an author platform, essential to securing an agent and traditional publisher. She will discuss all of the publishing options, including the traditional way, hybrid and self.

Scarlett De Bease, who is a professional and certified image consultant and founder of the Always Know What To Wear Program, which has shown women how to look younger, thinner and taller with the right clothes.

Suzen Pettit, who is an online marketing and growth strategist and is the CEO and founder of Omaginarium, which services the small business owner to help them "get found" and have traffic walk through the door. With 25 years of small-business experience, she will share the value of incorporating video into marketing efforts.
