An adoption information session hosted by Family & Children's Agency is set for Thursday, Oct. 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the main office of the agency, 9 Mott Avenue in Norwalk. Anyone interested in adopting a child is welcome to attend.

Director of Adoption Mary Kate Locke will provide a detailed overview of the adoption process in Connecticut. She also will talk about the work of the agency with parents who have adopted children from the United States, China, Korea and Taiwan, as well as from the foster care program of the state's Department of Children and Families.
