Family Centers to offer discussion for adolescent girls
To help make sense of all the mounting stressors kids face each day, Family Centers has created a new discussion group for adolescent girls. Called "You Go, Girl," the group is facilitated by Family Centers' social worker Myra Marcus, LCSW, Ph.D, and offers girls a safe, confidential place where they can talk about their feelings and conflicts with peers, parents and others.
The group also focuses on helping girls balance with academic and social obligations, while developing supportive relationships with their peers. The group is held every Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Family Centers' 20 Bridge Street offices in Greenwich.
