Tyler Moss, 28, of Willowbrook Lane, New Canaan, was arrested Jan. 5 on a charge of breach of peace.

According to police, Moss was picked up on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk by a cab driver, who said Moss was complaining, was "highly intoxicated" and could not explain where he lived. The cab driver brought him to the New Canaan Police Department at 10 p.m.

Officers tried to explain to Moss that he was not in trouble, but he was not cooperating and was unable to give his address, police said. When emergency medical services arrived, Moss became angry and started spitting and yelling profanities, according to the report. After clenching his fists and taking a fighting stance, Moss was placed under arrest, police said.

Later that night, Moss was finally able to call someone to pick him up, according to the report.

He was released on a promise to appear in court Jan. 15.
