Dog violations and a failure to appear
Giovanni Alberino, 37, of Norwalk, turned himself in on a warrant service Feb. 29 at 1:51 p.m.
His original offense took place Oct. 25, 2011, when he allowed his dog to freely roam the exit 38 ramp of the Merritt Parkway. He failed to appear in court Jan. 30 after failing to respond to initial infractions. He was charged with allowing a dog to roam, failure to comply with ownership requirements and no rabies vaccine for the dog.
He posted a $250 bond and will appear in court March 14.
