National Brussels Griffon Rescue Inc. will be visiting Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry St., from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 11.

Brussels Griffon dogs will be available for adoption.

National Brussels Griffon Rescue Inc. is a not-for-profit organization for abandoned, lost or abused dogs that must find new homes. The object of NBGR is to spay or neuter and place rescued dogs in qualified pet homes.

"We're excited to host the Brussels Griffon Rescue and give the local residents a chance to come meet this special breed of dogs," said Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. "The great work the NBGR group does really makes a difference in taking these abandoned dogs and finding them forever homes."
