Circus Vidbel returns to New Canaan June 29 and 30
The New Canaan YMCA and Kiwanis Club of New Canaan have partnered again this year to present the Circus Vidbel.
The circus will perform under the
big top tent at Saxe Middle School Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30. There will be two shows each day, at
4 and 7 p.m.
The circus will be showcasing new acts, activities, and a new "Wild West" theme for its third year performing in town, as well as the return of the popular and breathtaking cloud swing and lyra acts by Susan Vidbel.
The show is appropriate for families with children of all ages, and no wild animals are part of the performance.
"We are thrilled to be partnering with Kiwanis again to be bringing the circus back to our community for a third year," Y Executive Director Craig Panzano

"With Circus Vidbel, we are so proud that we have not only created a tradition for families within our town, but that proceeds from the event all go back to benefiting our community," Kiwanis President Jenny Esposito said.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the financial assistance program at the New Canaan YMCA, ensuring no one is ever turned away from the Y for the inability to pay, as well as the Kiwanis Community Fund, which allows
the club to provide grants to nonprofits whose missions are dedicated to serving children.
Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 2 are free. Advance tickets are available at the New Canaan YMCA, Baskin Robbins, Karl Chevrolet and TD Bank.
