American fashion designer and winner of the fourth season of Bravo Television's Project Runway, Christian V. Siriano, visited L'Armoire last week.

The upscale women's boutique that has been a fixture on Park Street in New Canaan for more than 24 years.

"Christian's line is fabulous," said Diane Roth, owner of L'Armoire. "It's fresh and rich and sophisticated, perfect for the active woman who wants to be in style and yet wants clothes that will become classics and be wearable over time. Christian's flamboyant personality is exciting and we are looking forward to having a lot of fun with him."

Before auditioning for the fourth season of Bravo's hit program Project Runway, Siriano worked as a freelance make-up artist for Stila cosmetics and was making wedding gowns for private clients. He also held a brief intern position at Marc Jacobs. But his big break came when he earned a spot on Project Runway. Despite fierce competition, he became the show's youngest ever winner, fan favorite, and a rising star in the fashion world.

Now in his early 20s, Siriano has already designed for style icons Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, and Whoopi Goldberg, for whom he created an ensemble for her to wear as host of the 2008 Tony Awards.

He designed outfits for Becki Newton and Vanessa Williams to wear on "Ugly Betty" and several outfits for singer Estelle's album release. He had a guest starring role on Ugly Betty and Bravo's "Make Me A Supermodel," has appeared on talk shows, and was a red carpet fashion correspondent for the Emmy Awards, MTV Movie Awards, a guest judge for the Miss USA Pageant, and recipient of a Bravo A-List Award.

Siriano also designed a full couture collection for the upcoming film "Eloise in Paris," starring Uma Thurman.
