When we lose a loved one, our world is dramatically changed. The community has been reminded of this by the memorials to the 9/11 victims, but it also happens every day to someone.
Fifteen years ago, the Congregational, Episcopal, Lutheran, Methodist, and Presbyterian churches of New Canaan combined efforts to reach out to area residents with a program of guidance and support, at a time when they may feel so separated, and alone.
The program restarts on Monday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m., and will continue for eight weeks in the parlor of the First Presbyterian Church, 178 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan. More information is available through the church office at 203-966-0002.
