Andrea C. Uva, daughter of Frances C. Uva of New Canaan and Anthony J. Uva of Stamford, was married on July 20 to Patrick Worthington, originally from City Island, N.Y.

Officiating was Joshua Hamaker, husband of maid of honor Marie Akers Hamaker, formerly of New Canaan. The ceremony and reception took place at the Angel Orensanz Foundation for Contemporary Art in New York City.

Also from New Canaan and serving as bridesmaids were Marie Akers, Hamaker's twin sister; Karin Athanas, of Leesbury, Va.; and Caroline Wilson, of Newton, Mass. Adrienne Dougherty of Hoboken, N.J., also was a bridesmaid.

Thr groom's brother, Sean Fleischman, from Wingdale, N.Y., served as best man. Ushers were Michael Neufeld of Yonkers, N.Y., and Antonio Pulgarin and Brannon McAllister of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The bride graduated from New Canaan High School in 1998 and from Occidental College in Los Angeles in 2002. She is an art director at Open Road Media in New York City. The groom is a 1999 graduate of the Richard R. Green High School in New York City and a 2013 graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He served in the Marine Corps from 2005 to 2009. He works as a user experience designer with New York Life Insurance Company in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., and creates fine art photography.

After a reception at the venue, they honeymooned on a cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean. They live in New York City.
