A 42-year-old Brushy Ridge Road resident reported fraud Nov. 16 at 11:35 a.m.

The complainant received a text from AT&T saying his account information had changed before the cell phone itself was cut off. Police said the complainant called AT&T immediately to reactivate his phone and reclaim his information. According to the report, someone attempted to use his information to upgrade their account at an Apple store. The complainant's account had accrued an $18 charge which AT&T paid back.

The case is still under investigation.
