The Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project will hold its 26th Anniversary Fiesta Celebration May 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Quattro Pazzi Restaurant at Oak Hills Park and Golf Course, 165 Fillow Street, Norwalk. Again this year there will be a special benefit auction to raise funds for the school, scholarships, career classes, the organic farm and many other programs that support sustainable living for families in Nagarote, Nicaragua. The event will feature hors d'oeuvres, sumptuous buffet dinner, cash bar and a fundraising auction. All net proceeds benefit the special work of the Norwalk/Nagarote Sister City Project.

Tickets for the event are available at three levels: Amigos at $75, Companeros at $125, and Padrinos at $200. All amounts above $50 are tax-deductible. The Sister City Project was established in 1986 as a collaborative partnership between concerned citizens in Norwalk and the city of Nagarote, Nicaragua. The Norwalk-based group has created schools, scholarship programs, an organic farm and sustainable food programs, as well as, the recent building of a new community center in the Nicaraguan community.
