$2,000 in OTC meds stolen from Walgreens

New Canaan police are looking for a suspect who stole $2,000 worth of medication from Walgreens, 36 Pine St.
On Aug. 18, a manager at the store was going though surveillance video from the day before when he observed a male putting a number of items into two Hallmark bags and then walking out of the store without paying, police said.
The man was seen taking bottles of Prilosec, Allegra, Zyrtec and Zantac, according to the report.
Police described the suspect as somewhat heavyset, muscular and without facial hair. Police are unsure if the vehicle seen leaving the parking lot shortly after the theft was driven by the suspect.
Police said the two-door vehicle is a dark-colored, possibly black, and does not have tinted windows.
The investigation is continuing.
