NEW CANAAN — A 52-year-old Stamford man was charged on a warrant after he was pulled over for driving with a defective light, police said.

On Nov. 28 around 3:10 a.m., an officer pulled over Ezzat Parsik, of Summer Street, for having a broken marker light. The officer searched the Stamford man’s car and checked his information. The officer found a warrant was out for Parsik’s arrest for failing to appear in court on charges out of Stamford.

Parsik was taken into custody and processed for failing to appear in the second degree. He was held on a $7,500 bond and appeared in court Nov. 28.; @erin_kayata
