Lanes reopened after Route 15 crash in New Canaan
NEW CANAAN — Connecticut State Police shut down a stretch of the Merritt Parkway for roughly 45 minutes after a crash Friday night.
The three-car collision was reported one minute before 7 p.m., according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The crash left Route 15 north closed between Exit 35 and Exit 36 while crews worked to clear the scene.
By 7:45 p.m., the lanes were reopened to traffic in the area. Residual delays remained in the area even after crews cleared from the site of the crash.
There was no immediate word on possible injuries related to the collision.
