Association of Fundraising Professionals conference

Connecticut's two Association of Fundraising Professionals chapters will hold their annual all-day conference on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the CoCo Key Hotel and Convention Center in Waterbury. Scheduled speakers include Deb Heinrich, Nonprofit Liaison to Governor Dannel P. Malloy.

Gregory Prieston DDS, F.A.G.D. of Norwalk Dental Care, a cosmetic and restorative dentist who practices in Norwalk, has reached a 30-year milestone.

He started his practice in 1981 after graduating from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. He has achieved the honor of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry for his participation in more than 300 hours of continuing education and successful completion of a qualifying exam.

The sixth annual Greenwich Harbor Yacht Showcase, one of the most prestigious boutique yacht shows in the northeast, will dock at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor, 500 Steamboat Road, on Sept. 9, 10 and 11.
