Luxury home up for auction
An expansive luxury estate in Greenwich will sell at auction, Concierge Auctions has announced.
Bidding is currently under way at Greenwich
luxuryauction.com, and a starting bid is in place for $1.65 million. The home was originally listed for $4.9 million.
The property is available for preview daily by appointment and is open Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. For more information call 866-649-8616.

Addressing some of New York's most influential people in the media, advertising and broadcasting industries for more than 15 minutes, the heavily decorated journalist said it was his deceased mother who fostered his pursuit of journalism.
"Growing up as an Irish-Catholic kid on the the Jersey shore, my mother would always point out correspondents and anchors on television, knowing that I was always writing for the student paper, always so interested in what Walter (Cronkite) was reporting on," said Williams, who resides in New Caanan.
During his tenure in the news business, Williams has received some of the industry's most coveted awards. Among his honors are 11 Edward R. Murrow awards, 12 Emmy Awards, and the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism.

The Coldwell Banker Previews office in New Canaan announces Laurie Balestrino as a sales associate in the Coldwell Banker Previews International office in New Canaan, has achieved the Sales Associate of the Month award.
Balestrino received the honor for achieving the highest closed dollar volume for the month of May.
Balestrino, her husband, Chuck and their three children lived in New Canaan for 12 years.
