  • Students from New Canaan High School placed 1,864 pinwheels on the lawn of Vine Cottage Sunday, April 6. The symbols of childhood commemorate the 1,864 children abused and neglected in Fairfield County last year. New Canaan High School TeenTalk counselor Ed Milton led the effort; TeenTalk is a safe, confidential outlet for students struggling with difficult circumstances and as part of the wider network of Kids in Crisis, enables students to build coping skills and, when necessary, find safe havens.
