Zerbini Circus at Saxe this evening

The circus will perform at Saxe Middle School field June 22, from 4 and 6:30 p.m.
Hosted by the New Canaan YMCA and Kiwanis Club of New Canaan, this year's circus features performances from a new troupe, the Zerbini Family Circus, an eighth-generation family of entertainers.
Aerialists, jugglers, clowns, acrobats, camels and the death-defying "Wheel of Destiny" are among the highlights of the shows. Children will also have the opportunity to join in on the fun, with camel rides available during intermission. The show is appropriate for families with children of all ages, and no wild animals are part of the performance.
Proceeds from the circus will benefit financial assistance for the Y's summer camps, as well as the Kiwanis community fund, which supports youth programs.
Helping to bring the circus back to town this year is premier circus sponsor TD Bank.
"TD Bank is extremely proud and excited to sponsor the Zerbini Family Circus, along with the New Canaan YMCA and Kiwanis, where families can enjoy great entertainment," said Jenny Esposito, New Canaan store manager. "We feel it is important to invest in our communities, and the circus is a fun, family-oriented way to spend an evening."
