Workshop to deal with loss of pet

Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County will offer a bereavement workshop to help adults cope with loss following the death of a beloved pet.

The pet loss bereavement workshop will take place Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the offices of Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, Suite 114 at the Health and Wellness Center of Norwalk Hospital, 761 Main Ave., Norwalk.

Participants in the workshop will be offered a safe place to express their feelings of loss.

Kristin Carpenter will facilitate the workshop.

She is a grief and bereavement counselor at Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County.

The workshop is free but registration is required by calling 203-834-6341, Ext. 265.
