Woman reports fraud attempt

A 68-year-old Scofield Lane resident reported fraud May 12 at 12:24 p.m.

Police said she received a bill from Paypal stating she owed $350.26 for unknown items purchased. She told police she had never opened a Paypal account. Police said her social security number was compromised, but no money was taken.

The matter is still under investigation
