Woman hits parked car; charged with evading responsibility

Michele West, 33, of Stamford was charged with evading responsibility April 7 at 11:24 p.m.
Police were called about a parked car struck on Forest Street. While on route to the location, someone told them there was an intoxicated woman in her vehicle in the Bank of America parking lot at Forest Street. West was in the car, but it was not on or operational. Police noticed the car had heavy front end damage and matched the debris of the parked car on Forest Street. After some more investigation, police charged her with evading responsibility and a failure to drive right.

She was released on a $200 bond and will appear in court April 23.
