Woman charged with felony after domestic dispute

Laura Stemerman, 53, was charged with several offenses in connection with a domestic incident on Adams lane April 7 at 9:59 p.m.

Stemerman got into an argument with her husband, who previously took out a protective order against her in February of 2011. Police said she also struck her 12-year-old son in the middle of the argument. Police charged her with disorderly conduct, interfering with a 911 calm, third-degree assault and criminal violation of a protective order risk of injury to a minor, which is a class B felony.

She was released on a $5,000 bond and appeared in court April 9.
