Woman arrested for embezzling at Silver Hill

A food service employee at Silver Hill Hospital was arrested by warrant Monday for allegedly stealing nearly $15,000 in deposits intended for the independent food company’s bank.
Aniko Lucero, 47, of Meeker Court, Norwalk, was charged with second-degree larceny for allegedly stealing $14,883 in proceeds she was supposed to deposit between June and August of 2014, according to New Canaan Police Lt. Jason Ferraro.
She was held on $14,250 bond and is to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk, according to Ferraro.
