Over the last two months, the New Canaan Library hosted a number of presentations by Fairfield County practitioners who promote health and wellness through naturopathic, holistic and integrative medicine.

The workshops will culminate with "Spa Fair: Wellness, Mind and Body" from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in the Adrian Lamb Room.

The fair will offer an opportunity to learn more about natural ways to improve health and well-being. The event will present an introduction to local sources for procuring organic and naturopathic products, health and wellness services, demonstrations, books and organic samples from local area sources.

The fair will include juicing, tai chi, yoga, Reiki, reflexology, holistic skin care and counseling, apitherapy, organic wines, the Melt Method, chair massage, olive oil, nutritional counseling, psychotherapy consults, "destressing your lifestyle" counseling, organic food, non-gluten and supplement samples and a broad offering of wellness books for sale.

Among the participants will be Atheria Spa; Lisa Corrado Nutrition; Oxygen Fitness; Walter Stewart's Market; New Canaan Olive Oil; New Canaan Healthfare; Sarawati's Yoga Joint; MyFoodMap; Kempo Academy of Martial Arts; Cherry Street Salon; Teresa Nilla Reflexology; Pryority Wellness; Red Grape Wine & Spirits; Pro-Organized; Life Solutions of Darien; Red Bee Honey and books for sale from Elm Street Books and Dr. Peter D'Adamo.
