A man reported to police at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 25 his wallet stolen from the New Canaan YMCA.

The man left the wallet in an unlocked locker in the building between 5:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., police said. When he returned, it was missing, police said. The wallet contained credit cards, which the man subsequently canceled, and his driver's license, according to the report. It did not contain cash, police said.

Officers are looking into surveillance footage from the outside of the building, police said. There is no footage available from inside the locker room, for reasons of privacy.
