W. Bradley (Brad) Blair of Hilton Head Island, S.C., formerly of New Canaan, died Tuesday, March 22, at Broad Creek Care Center. He was 90.

Born in Ogdensburg, N.Y., he was the son of the late Ada Bradley Blair and Ralph James Blair. Mr. Blair graduated from Fairmont State College and was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was an executive in the metals industry having worked for RJR, American Can and Continental Can.

Upon retirement in 1985, Mr. Blair and his wife, Mary Jane, fulfilled a lifelong dream of summers spent in the mountains of North Carolina and winters in Florida where they established great memories with lifelong friends while pursuing their love of golf and boating. His many passions extended to the dance floor.

In addition to his wife of 68 years, survivors include his daughter, Tanya Blair Deblitz (Karl) of Bluffton, S.C.; son, W. Bradley Blair II (Marianne) of Johns Island, S.C.; nephew, Dr. Ralph Blair (Elisa) of Wellesley, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased in death by his sister, Ada Blair and brother, Ralph Blair.

A private family service was held Wednesday, March 30, at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Carolina.
