HARDWICK, Vt. (AP) — The Northeast Kingdom region of Vermont will be celebrating its local farms and foods, with tours, tastings and workshops next weekend.

The ninth annual Kingdom Farm & Food Days takes place Aug. 18, 19 and 20.

Among the free events are tastings and distillery tours at Caledonia Spirits in Hardwick on Friday, tours on Saturday at Butterworks organic dairy farm in Westfield, Agape Hill Llama Farm in Hardwick and Pete's Greens in Craftsbury, which will also offer local drink tastings and food. Sunday includes an open field day at High Mowing Organic Seeds in Wolcott with workshops, food and kids activities.
