Vandalism reported on Park Street

A 17-year-old New Canaan resident reported vandalism to his vehicle on July 11 at 11:12 p.m.

According to the report, the teen was driving his Subaru Forester north on Park Street near Mead Park when the rear passenger-side window was shattered.

The teen reported four male youths running in the woods.

In addition to the driver, the Subaru had two passengers, including one in the back seat. Police said no one was injured.

The damage was estimated at $200 and the matter is under investigation.
