The New Canaan Radio Control Society met Sunday morning in Waveny Park.

The group started in 1980 and is devoted to the building and safe flying of radio-controlled model aircraft and camaraderie among members enjoying the hobby. The club flies regularly on Sunday mornings at the park. Anyone interested in observing is encouraged to stop. If someone is interested in learning to fly, the group can provide a lesson with one of its instructors and club's plane.

For more information, visit www.ncrcs.org. Prospective members must belong to the Academy of Model Aeronautics, a worldwide association of modelers organized to promote, develop and advance modeling activities, and to educate members and the public.
