United Methodist Preschool hosts fundraiser

United Methodist Preschool invites the community to celebrate the season at the first ever Spring Fling Boutique April 20.
More than 20 artisan and stylish vendors will be on hand to showcase their unique gifts, home decor, children's accessories, fashion, jewelry, monogrammed handbags, gourmet food, and much more. The boutique opens just in time for Mother's Day; residents can come pick up a unique gift for moms.
There will also be a silent auction withmany items. This event is open to the public and admission is complimentary. Vendors and companies scheduled to attend are Arbonne, Emalyn Sweets, Excessorize, Handcrafted by Brigitte, Initials, Inc., Juice Plus, Kristin Dahl Fashions, KSM Style, Lizzie, Izzie, and James, M-Belle-Ish, Silhouette Artist, Silpada Designs, Sunglasses, Switcha Pocket, The Chintz Giraffe and THOMAStyle.
All proceeds will benefit United Methodist Preschool (UMP), a non-profit organization. In today's economic climate, the school was looking for a fun and distinctive way to fundraise.
"We wanted to get the community involved," Carol Hammond, Director of UMP, said. "This boutique showcases many different vendors, many of whom are New Canaan residents and UMP parents, and we're excited for all of New Canaan to join us for a fun afternoon out. There is no admission charge, and we hope to see a lot of new and old friends on April 20."
