Tucker Saitta, 18, of 180 Bridle Path Lane, New Canaan, was arrested April 19 on charges of second-degree forgery, possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to halt possession of alcohol by a minor.
At 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a party on Bridle Path Lane, according to police. Upon arrival, officers detected an odor of marijuana and observed several youths gathered outside the back of the house, police said. As they approached the teens, the officers also observed a number of beer cans and paraphernalia in plain sight, according to the report.
Officers spoke with seven youths, all of whom were 18-year-old males, according to police. The teen hosting the party, Saitta, said his parents were not home and that the alcohol and marijuana were his, police said. Saitta had a fake license, which made him older than he is, according to the report.
Police found two metal grinders, a large bong, two small smoking pipes, four packs of rolling papers and an electronic scale at the scene, police said. As for alcohol, police seized 60 beer cans, a bottle of rum and a bottle of vodka, according to the report.
He posted $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear court April 30.
