Three New Canaan wrestlers place in CIAC Class L tournament

Three New Canaan High School Wrestlers placed in the CIAC Class L wrestling tournament in Bristol on Saturday.

Junior co-captain Kenny Phillipson claimed a third place finish in the 145-pound weight class.

Senior co-captains Frankie Hogan and Kevin Hall each captured fifth place finishes in the 120-pound and 126-pound weight classes, respectively.

All three wrestlers qualified for the CT State Open Wrestling Tournament this weekend in New Haven.
