A 16-year-old New Canaan female was found in possession of alcohol Feb. 4 at 9:45 p.m.

Officers received a call from someone in the neighborhood saying they saw two young males jumping over a fence around Oak Street. When police found the teens they said they were going to a party on Oak Street.

After going to the house where the party was supposed to happen, police found the 16-year-old female. Police said her parents were not home and she was supposed to stay at a friend's place but instead tried to have an unsupervised party with alcohol. There were four other teens at the house ranging from 14 to 16 years old.

She was issued an infraction for possession of alcohol by a minor.
