Waveny Care Network will host a public support group for people coping with caring for a loved one with memory loss. On the second and fourth Tuesday of every month in the library at 3 Farm Road, New Canaan, the support group is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut. Upcoming meeting are April 23, May 11 and 28, June 11 and 25, July 9 and 23 and Aug. 13 and 27. The one-hour meetings begin at 1:45 p.m.

Led by Ilene Sumberg, director of Waveny's adult day program, and Kate Bacon, social worker at Waveny Care Center, the group focuses on the enormous responsibility of caring for people with memory loss, including Alzheimer's disease, and welcomes individuals from all areas to attend.
