The Suburbanites Club, a women's social organization that includes residents from New Canaan and adjoining towns, welcomes new members.

The club has been active in New Canaan for more than 30 years. Among its many activities are bridge and theater groups, holiday and spring luncheons, and a fall fundraiser to benefit local philanthropies.

The club sponsors two bridge programs, marathon and duplicate, with games scheduled between October and May. A bridge luncheon takes place in June.

The theater group arranges bus trips to New York twice a year, in the spring and fall. This fall, the group will see "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder," a Tony Award-nominated show.

For information, contact membership chairman Linda Maranis at 203-966-5520.
