Stamford woman charged for failing to show up to court

NEW CANAAN — A 44-year-old Stamford woman was arrested for allegedly failing to appear in court for charges out of Fairfield.
On June 9 around 9:30 a.m., Rosanna Gumbus, of Selleck Place, was pulled over for failing to stop for a red light at the intersection of Cherry and Park streets. The officer found there was a warrant for the Stamford woman for an incident that occurred in Fairfield.
Gumbus was taken into custody for failure to appear in the second degree and was also issued an infraction for failing to obey a traffic signal. She was processed and posted a $1,000 bond. She will appear in court on June 19.
