Sing-In kicks off chorale's 50th season

The Fairfield County Chorale begins its 50th season with Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana Sing-In" at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Darien Methodist Church, 345 Middlesex Road.

The special 50th anniversary sing-in benefits the Norwalk Youth Symphony Orchestra. An optional pre-concert rehearsal will take place at 5:30 p.m. Scores will be available on loan.

A suggested donation of $20 is requested. Reservations are not required but registration can be made by calling 203-254-1333 or e-mailing info@fairfieldcountychorale.org. A reception will follow the performance.
