NEW CANAAN — A pair of Sherwood Lane residents arrested for a disorderly conduct earlier this month were arrested again after failing to show up for their court dates.

They were originally arrested on Sept. 8 when police were dispatched to Sherwood Lane on reports of a domestic dispute. Police issued the parties misdemeanor summons for disorderly conduct and released them on a promise to appear in court, which they failed to do.

New Canaan police issued arrest warrants for second-degree failure to appear for Carter Evans, 35, and Erica Evans, 38.

Both were processed and posted a $7,500 bond. Their next court date is Oct. 24.
