Senior men's club to hear about prostate cancer

Frank Masino, M.D., will address the Senior Men's Club of New Canaan at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, in Morrill Hall at St. Mark's Church about prostate cancer screening, diagnosis, pathology, treatment options, side effects and outcomes.
Masino, a graduate of Notre Dame and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is a member of the Department of Radiology and director of radiation oncology, Carl and Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, Stamford Hospital.
His postgraduate training included an internship at the Medical College of Virginia. He did his residency in therapeutic radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and was chief resident of therapeutic radiology at Yale.
Masino was certified by the American Board of Radiology, therapeutic radiology, and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Radiosurgery Society. He was appointed a clinical instructor, therapeutic radiology, Yale University School of Medicine.
He has had numerous positions with Stamford Hospital, has served on several hospital committees and has earned many honors and citations.
