Rotary golf outing raises money for polio eradication

The Rotary Clubs of New Canaan and Stamford will conduct the fourth annual golf outing on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Country Club of New Canaan.

The golf outing raises money to support Rotary International's commitment to eradicate polio worldwide.

The cost is $250 per golfer to play but non-golfers are encouraged to attend the cocktail party at 5:30 p.m. for a $50 donation. Tee sponsorships are available for $125 and but are reduced to $25 when a foursome is purchased. Prizes are awarded for long drive, closest to the pin, lowest overall score, hole-in-one and more.

The golf will be preceeded by lunch at 12:05 p.m. and followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Tee-off is at 1 p.m.
