Retrospective of Betty Barker's paintings set Oct. 14

The paintings of New Canaan artist Betty Barker will be showcased in a special program sponsored Oct. 14 by the New Canaan Society for the Arts.

The event, "Celebrating the Creativity of Betty Barker," will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in Waveny Park.

The retrospective of selected paintings will include recollections about Barker as a painter and a founding member of New Canaan Society of the Arts.
