Resident's prescription picked up in Dallas

A 42-year-old female New Canaan resident reported prescription fraud Feb. 4 at 4:33 p.m.

Police said the woman went to pick up her prescription at CVS Pharmacy in town but was notified the medicine had already been picked up at a CVS Pharmacy in Dallas. She told police the only person she knows in Dallas is an ex-husband who she had a protective order against. The prescription in Dallas was reportedly picked up on Feb. 3.

The matter is still under investigation.
