With Valentines in hand, Gray Farms Nursery School students took a field trip to the New Canaan Post Office last week to learn about what happens to their Valentines when they are mailed.

The students, teachers and parents traveled by Metro-North train from Stamford's Springdale station to the New Canaan Post Office, where Postmaster Nancy Cornelio showed the preschoolers the process a letter goes through from the time it comes into the post office to when it leaves.
