Signed, Sealed & Delivered -- an art sale and event for collectors and enthusiasts -- returns to Silvermine Arts Center for its 12th year from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Signed, Sealed & Delivered, which is a fundraiser, is an opportunity to purchase original works of art by Silvermine Guild, School of Art Faculty and invited internationally known artists. Now patrons will have two ways to collect: In addition to the original 4-by-6-inch paintings, prints, photographs and collages, new this year will be original 10-by-10-inch artworks. The 4-by-6-inch works of art are $50 each, but when three are purchased, the fourth one is free. The 10-by-10-inch artworks on wood panels will be raffled during the evening, with tickets at $100. Raffle tickets will be drawn one at a time and patrons will then pick one of the artworks in order of number selected. At the end of the raffle, all remaining pieces will be available for purchase at $200 each.

Unlike the "mystery" of purchasing the 4-by-6-inch pieces, where the artist is not known until after purchase, the 10-by-10-inch ones will not be anonymous and will be exhibited in advance of the fundraising event, in the Borglum Gallery. The art work will also be posted on the website.

Some of the participating artists are Alberta Cifolelli, Roxanne Faber Savage, Fran Henry Meehan, Marty Kremer, Erin Nazzaro, DeAnn Prosia, James Reed, Susan Sharp, Anita Soos and Marjorie Tomchuck, who is from New Canaan.
