Glenn Deluca, 47, of Westport was arrested on a warrant at 10:18 a.m. on April 12 for violating the conditions of release.

Accoring to the report, police picked up Deluca at the Norwalk probation office, police said. Deluca posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 28.

A female, 53, of New Canaan reported credit card theft at 1:30 p.m. on April 12. According to police, the woman noticed suspicious charges at a West Norwalk store when she received her credit card bill.

A 57-year-old New Canaan woman reported a harassing phone call at 2:03 p.m. on April 12. According to police the woman received an obscene phone call from a man at 9:15 a.m. on April 10.

Police said the man swore and accused the woman of stealing business from him after reading online business reviews. No arrest was made, according to police.

John B. Jeffrey, 42, of Canoe Hill Road was arrested on a warrant for failure to respond to an infraction at 10:25 a.m. on April 13.

According to police, the warrant stemmed from a Feb. 11 motor vehicle incident for which Jeffrey was charged with speeding. Jeffrey posted $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 21.

A female, 56, of New Canaan reported items stolen from her vehicle at 5:45 p.m. on April 13. According to police, the woman parked her car at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 671 South Ave. and attended a church service between 4:15 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. that day.

Police said the woman then returned to find a window of her car smashed and the following items missing: a leather purse valued at $500, a Swiss Army backpack valued at $250, a red wallet valued at $50, $40 in cash and credit cards. Police said there are no witnesses, no suspects and no video surveillance at this time.

James Montgomery, 43, of Bridgeport was arrested on a warrant at 9:45 a.m. on April 14 at the New Canaan Transfer Station. The arrest stemmed from a Bridgeport warrant for Montgomery for third-degree assault, according to police. Police arrested and held Montgomery for Bridgeport police while conducting an annual inspection and truck detail of private contractors using the site with the New Canaan Highway Department, according to police. Police said Montgomery is a driver for City Carting & Recycling.

John Hickey, 42, of Toquam Road was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a domestic dispute at his home at 6:46 a.m. on April 15.

Hickey appeared in court later that morning.

A 54-year-old male resident of New Canaan reported fraud at 2 p.m. on April 17.

Police said the man's bank alerted him to $930 in charges on his bank card on April 16. Police said two ATM withdrawals were made with his card -- one at 12:25 p.m. on April 14 at the Mobil gas station at 16 South Ave., and 29 minutes later, another at 910 High St. in Stamford.

Roberto Romero, 42, of Bridgeport was arrested on a warrant for violation of condition of release at 4:48 p.m. on April 16 after an officer made a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue at Forest Street because Romero was allegedly talking on his cell phone while driving. According to police, Romero was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Express van.

Police said the warrant was issued on Jan. 23, 2009. The arrest stemmed from an earlier warrant issued on Oct. 13, 2004 for sale of hallucinogenic narcotics, police said. Romero was found guilty on May 16, 2005, and violated the terms of his probation on Dec. 18, 2008. Romero did not post $7,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on April 19.

Winchel Berlin, 38, of New Canaan was charged with failure to drive right and driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at 3:12 a.m. on April 17.

According to police, an officer observed Berlin crossing the double yellow line on Cherry Street at Park Street. Police said the officer observed Berlin crossing the double yellow line several more times before making a motor vehicle stop on Main Street and Locust Avenue.

Berlin posted $100 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 29.

Thomas Sill, 44, of Park Place was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault at his home in connection with a domestic dispute at 12:54 a.m. on April 18. Sill posted $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 29.
