The schedule for New Canaan CARES includes:

Tuesday, for elementary school parents: "Flower Power Parent or Tiger Mom: Perfectly Imperfect Parenting," with Maud Purcell, executive director of the Life Solution Center of Darien, at 9:15 a.m. at South School.

Wednesday, for middle school parents: "Flower Power Parent or Tiger Mom: Perfectly Imperfect Parenting," with Maud Purcell, executive director of the Life Solution Center of Darien, at 9:30 a.m. at Saxe Middle School.

Wednesday, Oct. 24: "Building Resilience in Your Child," with Dr. Barbara Greenberg, at 7 p.m. at the New Canaan Library.

New Canaan CARES is an independent, nonprofit community organization whose purpose is to advance the health and well-being of youth and families. CARES provides responsive educational programs and professional development that support and strengthen parenting skills, positive youth development and healthy lifestyles.
