"Executive Function Coaching for Disorganized Kids," a free program with Ruthann Short will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Villa Maria School, 161 Skymeadow Drive, Stamford.
Short, a licensed clinical social worker, produces Mind Matters parent coaching programs. The program is geared for parents of children who are 9 to 12 year old. Executive function skills are defined as the foundations children need to negotiate the demands of childhood, adolescence and beyond.
Parents will be provided with coaching tips on middle childhood development and the progressive development of executive function skills.
