Outback fundraiser to support vets

  • The Outback Teen Center recently hosted an America-themed fundraiser dance for the New Canaan High School upperclassmen students. Money raised at the event will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project. The event was planned by the Outback Teen Center Student Governing Board, which consists of the high school students, from left, Henry Greer, Lauren Perone, Mary Jane Ripley, Anne Greer and Giuliana Ponterotto.  Greer, the Student Governing Board president, said the dance "was a successful event with over 150 teenagers having fun for a great cause, yet in a safe environment as well."
